Deborah K. Hale, CCS, CCDS,
is president of Administrative Consultant Service, LLC, in
Shawnee, OK. Hale has 25 years of experience in healthcare
management, including administration, health information
management, clinical documentation improvement, resource outcome
management, and utilization review. She is a member of the
American Health Information Management Association and the
Healthcare Financial Management Association. Hale is a featured
national speaker at case management and healthcare revenue cycle
conferences.
Susan Wallace, MEd, RHIA, CCS, CCDS,
is a Director of Compliance for Inpatient Reviews, for
Administrative Consultant Services in Shawnee, OK, and provides
consultation in Health Information Department management,
clinical documentation improvement, MS-DRG and APR-DRG
management, ICD-9-CM coding, and ICD-10-CM/PCS preparation. She
has over 30 years of experience in the HIM field.
