Webinars

The Pennsylvania Association of Cancer Registrars is excited to offer our members access to the NAACCR webinars.

About NAACCR Hospital Registrar Webinars

The webinars will address a specific site/histology or hospital registry operations issue. Site-specific webinars will include information on anatomy, multiple primary and histology coding rules, collaborative staging, and treatment data items as required by the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) Commission on Cancer (CoC). Didactic exercises will be completed and answers with rationale will be presented. There will also be a question and answer session.

These previously recorded webinars include lectures, quizzes, exercises, and a question and answer session. The same CEs that are available for the live version are available for the recorded version. PACR purchased the webinars to offer our members the opportunity to view the webinars at their desk when and where they choose, without having to travel to a regional site. If you wish to view a webinar as a group, each participant must register for the webinar. Materials for the webinar, including the CE certificate, are downloaded after registration has been received. A log of individuals who register is created during the registration process. This allows PACR to monitor the issuance of CE certificates. Please e-mail the Education Committee Chair at Education@pacr.org if you have additional questions. The webinars are an included benefit of your paid PACR membership.

Technical Requirements:

  • To participate in this webinar, users must have a computer with a sound card and speakers.

  • Due to the file size, the download time may take a few minutes. The download time is faster with the following connection speeds: ISDN, cable modem, DSL.

  • All recordings of the NAACCR Webinar series will be posted using a different file format than we have used in previous series. The recording will be posted in the WebEx Advanced Recording Format (.arf).

To view the recording you will need to download the .arf player at www.webex.com/downloadplayer.html prior to downloading the recording.
