Ashley Maxey is an Oncology Data Specialist and former Radiation Therapist with a background in radiation oncology and cancer registry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology with a focus in Radiation Therapy and an Associate’s degree in Cancer Information Management. Ashley has experience in cancer registry abstraction, casefinding, and follow-up, with a particular interest in radiation oncology coding and data quality. She is an active member of the CoC Radiation Oncology Working Group and has presented at national and state cancer registry conferences. Ashley is passionate about helping cancer registrars better understand radiation treatment and translate complex clinical information into accurate, high-quality cancer data.
