Vanessa Hoffmann is an oncology informatics and accreditation leader with more than 18 years of experience advancing national standard compliance, multi facility program performance, and cancer registry excellence. A former President of the National Cancer Registrars Association and NCRA Distinguished Service Award recipient, she is widely recognized for her expertise in data governance, regulatory strategy, and translating complex clinical and accreditation requirements into clear, actionable guidance.

As Oncology Data & Accreditation Manager for the HCA Healthcare-Sarah Cannon Cancer Network, Vanessa leads enterprise level CoC, NAPBC, and NAPRC strategy, driving survey readiness, documentation integrity, and scalable operational frameworks. Her work continues to shape the future of oncology data quality, accreditation strategy, and multidisciplinary program excellence.

Vanessa is deeply committed to advancing the cancer registry profession and has been an active volunteer with NCRA for many years. She has participated in One Voice Against Cancer’s two day advocacy event at the U.S. Capitol on four separate occasions, meeting with members of Congress to champion national cancer priorities. In addition, she has engaged her Maryland representatives’ multiple times to encourage increased federal funding for cancer research and improved support for oncology programs nationwide.
